The WSQ Provide Advice on Makeup Products (SF) framework supports the Retail and Service industry businesses. The competency units have been designed to develop skills, knowledge and attitudes required by individual working upon supervision to deliver service to customers/clients.


Course Content

This course aims to train new and existing staff to understand their personal role and deliver excellence customer service by utilising organisational service operation resources. Learners will have knowledge and application skills in implement operations for service excellence.

  • Use questioning techniques and listening skills to establish customers’ requirements

  • Use product knowledge to recommend products and/or services based on customers’ requirements

  • Inform customers of product information and assist customer to try or test products

  • Address customers’ enquiries and advise customers on maintenance and care of products

  • Recommend complementary and peripheral products and close sale in accordance with customers’ satisfaction
