Communications Channel Management

Course Content

Devise frameworks for selection of distribution channels, select the distribution channels and evaluate the effectiveness of such channels

  1. Develop communications channel management plans in line with brand and marketing activities

  2. Conduct negotiations to achieve agreement in communications channel management

  3. Evaluate effectiveness of communication channels

  4. Identify, select and manage distribution channel structures

  5. Develop research construct based on selected communication channels

  6. Communicate to stakeholders on effectiveness of communication channels

Methodology

Lessons are conducted in a structured yet pragmatic manner as lectures are blended with group discussions, role-plays and individual assessments. The group discussions give participants the opportunities to share their experience while role-playing helps the practice and application of concepts and approaches learned through the course.

  2. Execute communications plan using negotiation and appropriate identification, selection and management of distribution channel structures

  3. Assess communication channels and their effectiveness

  • Retail Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Store Manager / Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead in the marketing activities of retail store.

  • PMEs who have the relevant work experience from other service industries or sectors wanting to enhance their knowledge and skills, wanting to expand their job portfolio or are seeking national certification/qualification in the Retail industry specialising in Marketing.

  • PMEs and career switchers with supervisory or managerial experience, or individuals in other related industries or wanting to join the retail industry specialising in Marketing
