Allocate resources to handle a crisis, identify crisis response and recovery activities to be implemented, document activities and implement return-to-normal procedures and communicate key messages to relevant stakeholders. (English Only)

  1. Allocate resources to manage response-handling in accordance with crisis management plans

  2. Identify crisis response and recovery activities for implementation in accordance with recovery strategies and business continuity strategies to ensure alignment of activities

  3. Document crisis response and recovery activities data in accordance with information format requirements to facilitate follow-up actions

  4. Implement 'return-to-normal' procedures in accordance with crisis management plans to ensure alignment of activities

  5. Communicate organisational crisis management key messages to relevant stakeholders to provide updates

  6. Review crisis management processes to identify areas for improvement 

Methodology

Lessons are conducted in a structured yet pragmatic manner as lectures are blended with group discussions, role-plays and individual assessments. The group discussions give participants the opportunities to share their experience while role-playing helps the practice and application of concepts and approaches learned through the course.
